There is no energy quite like the energy of a dark crowded room waiting for OURS to take the stage. The people who have experienced a live show before know that what they are about to experience is a true connection with band and crowd. Every emotion lead singer Jimmy Gnecco is feeling is released into the room for you to grab onto and feel for yourself. It’s a vibe quite like no other that tells you this music is unique, heartfelt, pump through your veins kind of music. They take you on a metaphoric road trip with stops that range as distant as a pitch black ghost filled forest to giant flower filled meadows on a clear day.
Jimmy dedicates his latest masterpiece “Sing For Me” to the late great King of Pop, Michael Jackson. This soulful song is a fierce melody in which Gneccos’ epic vocals will have you singing the chorus over and over again in your head. While other songs, like “Willing” whose message sends out a chilling recollection of regret and life altering decisions from the past, will find permanent shelter in your heart.
If you don’t have any of their albums, buy them. If you haven’t had the chance to see them play live, check your schedule and make it happen. You’ll see that OURS is one of those rare finds that actually sounds even better live than on their studio albums, and considering how incredible their albums are, that's saying a lot.
